The defiler works much like it's original counterpart - high health and geared towards melee. Three separate upgrades exists for the Defiler, however, the desecrator cannon grants the Defiler a long range and potent artillery weapon. The Defiler can be locked down to increase it's firing rate, essentially turning it into a powerful artillery platform with a lot of health that can switch back to close quarters combat or just move whenever you need it to.
