The Baneblade is one of the Guard's finest tanks. A super-heavy tank Armed with eleven weapons including heavy bolters, lascannons, a baneblade cannon, an autocannon and a demolisher cannon. The Baneblade can lay waste to an army. It is also heavily armoured, meaning that only the strongest weapons can destroy it effectively.
The Baneblade is an offensive tank with long range and is mainly effective against infantry and vehicles. It's heavy armour means it can survive for a long time in battle. However, against units such as titans, the Baneblade does poorly. Fortunately, the Baneblade is the base of many variants of tanks such as the Stormlord or the Shadowsword.
